This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. A monitoring inspection was initiated on 9/30/20 in response to a request from the facility to add an additional building for use by the children in care. The director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. A video tour was conducted oft he new building that will be used by the children in care. The Inspector reviewed the documentation submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete and everything required was received. The licensee did not ask to increase capacity and the new building meet the requirements, so the licensee can start using it for care of the children. The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
