This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. An announced initial inspection was conducted using Facetime during the COVID-19 pandemic. The CDC is located within a church which was previously licensed and closed August 2020. There has been no construction completed since then, the space calculation today was determined by the applicant's floor plans and the prior licensed space calculation form. The owner walked through the facility using video, showing the inspector 4 classrooms and 2 hallway bathrooms. The date for the crib meets the crib requirements. The inspector observed tables, chairs, toy selves with manipulatives, mats for naptime, changing table, sink with running water soap, paper towels and step on trash cans for soiled diapers. The inspector observed the first aid kit, flashlight, batteries and battery operated radio. The fenced in playground was observed but could not be measured. There were no violations cited this date.
