This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A complaint inspection was initiated on 6/25/20 and concluded on 10/26/20. An initial complaint was received by the department regarding allegations in the area of behavior guidance. An additional complaint was received by the department on 7/27/20 regarding allegations in the area of supervision of children. The director was contacted by telephone to conduct the investigation. Interviews with staff and collaterals were conducted by phone. Records and documentation related to the incident were also reviewed. The evidence gathered during the investigation did not support the allegations of non-compliance with standards or law.
