Technical Assistance:
Vendor was given training on new training requirement and information about documenting allergy plans if necessary. Also discussed additional requirements of Emergency Preparedness plan.

Comments:
An unannounced inspection was conducted today at 10 AM. The Vendor was present but no children were present. The Vendor keeps records on daily attendance and maintains information of children enrolled. Vendor has emergency supplies and has a daily schedule posted for children. Vendor is current in CPR/First Aid and is MAT certified. Vendor does not have children enrolled at this time that may require medication. Home and supplies were also observed. Standard #: 22VAC40-665-210-B
Description: Based on review of 3 children's files, it was determined the vendor did not obtain updated immunization documentation for child #1. Evidence: 1. Child #1 has an updated phyiscal in the file but does not have a current immunization record.

Plan of Correction: I will request information from the parent and also review other files to be sure immunizations are current.

Standard #: 22VAC40-665-410-B
Description: Based on interview and record review, it was determined the vendor did not maintain a complete record of practice emergency drills for the last year. Evidence: 1. Vendor had a plan and had a sheet with recorded evacuation, shelter in place, and a lockdown drills but the monthly evacuation drills for April-July were not documented. 2. Vendor stated they were practiced but she forgot to write those months down.

Plan of Correction: I will write them down each month.
