- Technical Assistance:
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
A monitoring inspection during the conditional licensure period for this site was initiated and concluded on 11/13/2020. The area manager was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 7 children present and 2 staff. The inspector emailed the area manager a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed 3 children?s records and 3 staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-60-A Description: Based on a review of records, the licensee failed to ensure that each enrolled child's record contained the name, address, and phone number of two designated people to call in an emergency if a parent cannot be reached.
Three children's records were reviewed. The records for child #1 and child #2 did not contain addresses for the two emergency contacts listed. The administrator confirmed that this information was not contained in the records for child #1 and child #2 at the time of the inspeciton.
Plan of Correction: The emergency contact addresses were obtained and added to the records for child #1 and child #2 later the same day as the inspection and a copy forwarded to the inspector for verification.
