This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated on 12/2/20 and concluded on 12/4/20. The provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 59 children and 17 caregivers present.
The inspector emailed the provider a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed 2 children and 2 staff records to ensure documentation was complete.
The information gathered during the inspection determined that there was one violation with applicable standards or law.

Standard #: 22VAC40-191-60-C-2 Description: Based on a review of two staff files, it was determined that one staff did not have their Central Registry results within 30 days of employment.
Evidence:
Staff A was hired on 10/30/20 and does not have their Central Registry results on file.Plan of Correction: We will contact Central Registry for the results of the background check.
