This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, nesscary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated and concluded on 12/29/2020. The director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. Staff to child ratios were found to be in compliance. The inspector emailed the director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The inspector reviewed 4 children records and 5 staff records via video conferencing application to ensure compliance. A tour of 14 classrooms, art rooms,tech rooms, gross motor areas and drop off areas used to conduct COVID-19 screens were also viewed via video conferencing application.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
