The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A renewal inspection was initiated on 1/4/2021 and concluded on 1/19/2021 The Program Administrator was contacted by email to initiate the inspection. There were no children present as the program has been closed since 3/16/2020. The program will not open this school year. Reviewed annual trainings and emergency preparation, staff records, liability insurance documentation and first aid/CPR/MAT certifications. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.
Standard #: 63.2(17)-1721.1-B-4 Description: Based on administrative staff statement, a corporation officer has not obtained a copy of the results of a criminal history record information check from any state in which the individual has resided in the preceding five years.
Evidence: The officer has lived outside of VA within the past 5 years and is missing a Criminal Rrcord Check by 12/31/2020.
