The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
Discussed strategically placing equipment in the classrooms to ensure all children are within staff's supervision.
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. An unannounced Monitoring inspection via Facetime was conducted today. A total of 61 children with 10 staff on site. Observation of all 5 classrooms was conducted. Children were observed painting at easels, playing with Legos, and circle time. The groupings of children were made to adhere to social distancing, all staff observed with masks and protocols were in place regarding handwashing and sanitizing. The bulletin boards throughout the center were decorated by artwork completed by the children. Valentine themed projects were on display. A total of 3 children's records and 3 staff records were reviewed and found complete. Thank you for your cooperation today. Please email me at: firstname.lastname@example.org with questions.
