This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. A virtual Initial Inspection was conducted via Facetime. Walk through of all 8 classrooms and the playground was conducted. No children in care, one staff on site. The classrooms were set up with adequate programming equipment, materials and space to store each child's belongings. The playground was observed having adequate resilient surfacing and equipment was determined age appropriate for the requested age range. Cribs were observed on site for infants. The recommended total capacity is based on the square footage provided in the initial application and is subject to change once on-site measurements are obtained. No violations found today. Please email me at:lisa.hudson@dss.virginia.gov with any questions. Thank you for your cooperation today.
