Technical Assistance:
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs. Consultation was also given on the MAT webpage to find a trainer and updating First Aid/CPR. Please see the VA.childcareaware.org for free FA/CPR course information.

Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.

A monitoring inspection was initiated on 2/09/2021 and concluded on 2/10/2021. The Director was contacted by email to initiate the inspection. There were sixty five children with fourteen direct care staff which is within ratio for supervision. Reviewed nutrition, a sample of children and staff records, trainings and emergency preparation. Medication was reported to be on-site the day of the inspection with two staff having current MAT training. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
