This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated on 3/1/2021 and concluded on 3/2/2021. The director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 43 children present and 10 staff. The inspector emailed the director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed 4 children?s records and 4 staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliances with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
Please complete the columns for "Plan of Correction" and "Date to be Corrected" for each violation cited on the violation notice, and then return a signed and dated copy to the licensing office by 4pm on Wednesday, 3/10/2021. Please email me at morgan.bryson1@dss.virginia.gov with any questions.

Standard #: 22VAC40-191-60-C-2 Description: Based on record review, the center did not obtain the results of a Virginia Central Registry of Child Abuse and Neglect search for all staff within 30 days of employment.
