The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
Discussed the transition of licensing from Department of Social Services to the Department of Education effective 7/1/21.
- Comments:

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. No children were present during the inspection, due to spring break. The inspection was conducted via Zoom. The program has been provided entirely outside due to Covid precautions. It required a great deal of effort and well thought out planning to enable the program to reopen mid year. The areas of programming are spread out on the property, outdoor sinks were acquired to ensure proper hand washing, inclement weather steps were put into place to allow for this program to reopen the majority of the semester. A total of 3 children's records and 3 staff records were reviewed and found complete. Thank you for your cooperation with this inspection process.
