22VAC40-185 STAFFING AND SUPERVISION.
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews (if applicable) and a virtual tour of the program (if applicable).
A renewal inspection was conducted on August 26, 2021. The director was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 37 children present with 4 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 child records and 4 staff records were reviewed. Staff records are reviewed annually in the main SACC office.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-260-B Description: Based on interview with site director, annual approval from the health department was not available for review.
Documentation of the annual approval from the health department was not available for review during the inspection.
Plan of Correction: I will obtain a copy of the annual health inspection from the front office or cafeteria and send the inspector a copy. I will keep a copy posted by the desk.
