Reminder to change batteries in fire alarm. Information given regarding Annual update 3 hour subsidy training due March 2020.

An unannounced SHSI inspection was conducted today from 10:30 am- 11:45 am. There was 1 child ( 2 points) that was observed coming into care during parent drop off. Vendor/ child and household information was reviewed. Program emergency preparedness planning and supplies were also inspected. Areas and equipment used by children in care were found to be in compliance. If there are are any questions regarding this inspection please contact kelly.savittiere@dss.virginia.gov

Standard #: 22VAC40-665-240-C-2 Description: Based upon observation, electrical outlets did not have protective covers as required. Evidence: 1 outlet by TV and 2 outlets by fireplace did not have outlet covers as required. Plan of Correction: replaced during inspection.
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-410-B Description: Based upon records reviewed, required documentation was not complete as required. Evidence: There was no documentation for fire drills completed in 8/2018, 9/2018, 10/2018, 11/2018, 12/2018. Plan of Correction: I cannot find sheet. I will look.
