New standards change as of 10/13/21.
The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) assumed oversight of child care licensing and monitoring on July 1, 2021. All associated regulations and codes have transferred over from the Virginia Department of Social Services. A code Crosswalk document was provided to the facility.

An announced, virtual renewal study was conducted today. There were 4 staff records reviewed for specific content. Full staff records are reviewed a the main office at another time. All were complete. 3 children's records were reviewed. All were complete. Medications, first aid supplies, menu, posted documents, emergency supplies, emergency evacuation drills, shelter-in-place and lockdown drills were all in compliance today. This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review and a virtual tour of the program.
