Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, and documents review.

A monitoring inspection to review staff records was initiated on September 24, 2021 and concluded on September 24, 2021. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration and background checks. A total of four staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Violations:
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-160-C
Description: Based on a review of staff records, the center did not ensure that subsequent communicable tuberculosis (TB) screenings were conducted at least every two years from the date of the initial screening.

Evidence:
The record for staff #1 (date of last TB screening 6/27/19) did not contain updated TB screening results as of 09/24/21.
