The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) assumed oversight of child care licensing and monitoring on July 1, 2021. All associated regulations and codes have transferred over from the Virginia Department of Social Services. A Code Crosswalk document was given to the facility.
New Regulations are scheduled to go into effect on 10/13/2021.

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review and a virtual tour of the program. A monitoring inspection was initiated on 10/5/2021 and concluded on 10/07/2021. The Center Supervisor was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 31 children present, ranging in ages from 5 to 12, with 4 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 3 child records and 4 staff records were reviewed. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
