Discussion was held regarding the new Child Day Center Standards that went into effect on 10/13/2021. Discussed requirements for a written Abusive Head Trauma Policy, Continuity of Care policy, and required updates to the emergency preparedness plan regarding lock down procedures and reunification with parent procedures. Discussed the new tuberculosis screening time frame requirements.

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, and interviews.
A non-mandated monitoring inspection was initiated on October 29, 2021 and concluded on November 3, 2021. The director was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 63 children present, ranging in ages from five years of age to twelve years of age, with 13 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of seven child records and five staff records were reviewed.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
