The facility has not yet [fully] complied with the following requirement(s): 22VAC40-185-40-K The center shall develop written procedures for prevention abusive head trauma; 22VAC40-185-240-C Orientation for new staff has been changed and a new form has been provided to the center to assist them with the changes; 22VAC40-185-550 Procedures for emergencies have multiple changes that the center will review.

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, and interviews.
A monitoring inspection was initiated on 11/18/21 and concluded on 11/22/21. The director/provider was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 51 children present, ranging in ages from infants to five, with nine staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of four child records and four staff records were reviewed.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
