This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, and a virtual tour of the program.
A monitoring inspection was initiated on 1/27/2022 and concluded on 1/27/2022. The director was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 89 children present, ranging in ages from 3 months to 12 years, with 19 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 4 child records and 4 staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with an applicable standard and the violation was documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-60-A Description: Based on review of four children's records and staff interview, the facility failed to have all required information in one child's file. Evidence: The record for child 1 (date of enrollment 9/8/2020) does not contain documentation of proof of identity. The proof of identity had been reviewed, but the documentation could not be located. Plan of Correction: Center staff will obtain documentation of proof of identity as soon as possible.
