Discussed 8VAC20-780-70-1 - Name, address and telephone number of a person to be notified in an emergency which shall be kept at the center.
Recommend licensee to review new regulations and the updated orientation and training requirements model forms.

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews and a virtual tour of the program .
A monitoring inspection was initiated on 1/24/2022 and concluded on 02/07/2022. The director/was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 34 children present and 3 staff. The inspector emailed the director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed 3 children?s records and 2 staff records, along with any requested program records submitted by the facility to determine if required documentation was complete.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program

Standard #: 22.1-289.035-B-4 Description: Based on record review, the licensee did not ensure a copy of the results of a search of the child abuse and neglect registry or equivalent registry from any state in which the individual has resided in the preceding five years.
Evidence:
Staff #1 hire date 08/30/2021 ,there was no results or documentation that a out of state search of the child abuse and neglect registry for the state of California was completed.Plan of Correction: Form will be obtained by staff member and submitted to California.
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-260-A Description: Based on record review, the licensee did not ensure a annual fire inspection is completed.
Evidence: The fire inspection provided during the inspection was dated 11/06/2020. The fire inspection is more than a year old.Plan of Correction: Updated Inspection was provided but print out did not make it into the binder. Corrected
