Discussion of some of the new regulations that went into effect on 10/13/2021. New procedures with regards to annual lockdown drill and allergies were discussed.
Discussion of center's mask policy.

A monitoring inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews, and a virtual tour of the program.
This inspection was initiated and concluded on 02/10/2022. The Director was contacted and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 23 school-age children present, with 3 YMCA staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration; physical plant; staffing and supervision; programming; medication; special care and emergencies; and nutrition. A total of 5 children records were reviewed. Those staff documents required to be kept on site were reviewed. All other staff documentation is kept of file at the YMCA administrative office and is reviewed by the Office of Child Care Health and Safety (Fairfax) on an annual basis.
The information gathered during the inspection determined that there was not a violation to an applicable standard, code, and/or law. Therefore, a Violation Notice was not issued.
