Evidence: A review of the center's policies and procedures showed that written policies for prevention of shaken baby syndrome or abusive head trauma, including coping with crying babies, and sudden infant death syndrome awareness were missing. The center did have a written policy for safe sleep practices.Plan of Correction: Our policy related to awareness and prevention of SIDS, SBS or AHT, and how to respond to a crying baby has been added to our policy manual.
