22.1 Early Childhood Care and Education

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 3:15 - 4:00 pm with staff. There were 24 children, ranging from six years to eleven years of age, present with three staff supervising. Children were observed participating in an arts and crafts project and playing a large group game. Three on-site staff records were reviewed and in compliance. Staff reported that there was no medication on site, however two staff have current certification in Medication Administration Training (MAT), and all three staff have current certification in first aid and CPR. The emergency drill log was reviewed and in compliance. Required information was posted. The attendance record and written list of allergies were reviewed and in compliance.
