Today an unannounced Monitoring Inspection took place between the hours of 9:10am and 11:15am. There were 2 classrooms observed with a total of 30 children with 4 staff within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed learning about and practicing the letter 'M', using dot markers, practicing rhyming, participating in PE class, eating a morning snack and playing outside on the playground. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and staff records, and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. A sample of 5 medications and authorizations were reviewed.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-160-C Description: Based on record review, staff members have not submitted a subsequent tuberculosis (TB) screening at least every two years.
Evidence: Staff #1's most recent TB screening is dated 9/23/2019.Plan of Correction: The staff has made an appointment to complete an updated screening and the results should be received by the end of the week.
