- Technical Assistance:
A monitoring inspection was initiated on April 26, 2022 and concluded on April 26, 2022. There were 11 children present, ranging in ages from three years to five years, with 2 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of five child records and two staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-560-L Description: Based on observation and interview the center failed to ensure that staff shall sit with children during meal times.
Staff #2 did not sit with the children during lunch. Staff #2 sat appropriately 4 feet from the table where children were eating.
