This is a new vendor inspection, the vendor does not have any children in care at this time but teh vendor is set up to start taking care of the children. She has a sleep room with two cribs and a large space with lots of toys and other materials to explore. The vendor will provider food for the children in care and will take them outside to the playground. Discussed transportation , the vendor might use the story hour at the local library but will not to regular transportation for the children in care. Standard #: 22VAC40-665-260-A-3 Description: Based on the review of the physical plant and the measuring of the water temperature in the bathroom , it was determined that the water exceeds 120 degrees F.
Evidence: The water in the hot water part of the sink measured 131 degrees F.Plan of Correction: I live in an apartment building so I can not control the water heater but I will closely supervise the children and make sure they use both hot and cold water when washing hands.
Standard #: 63.2-1721.1-B-2 Description: Based on the review of the vendors paperwork the vendor failed to submit her OBI fingerprints.
Evidence: She does have a clearance from OBI from Dec 3rd, 2019 but it was done by a licensed provider that she sometimes work for as a substitute. A clearance requested by the vendor is not available.Plan of Correction: I will go and get my own check done as soon as I can get an appointment , I have made an appointment at 4:20 today
