An unannounced monitoring visit and facility tour was conducted on 6/9/2022. At the time of inspectors' arrival there were 17 preschool aged children in care with 7 staff members. Children were observed interacting with staff, freeplay, and hand washing. A sample of 3 children's records and 3 staff records were reviewed. Areas of noncompliance are identified on the violation notice and were discussed with the director in an exit meeting at the conclusion of this inspection.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-160-A-1 Description: Based on documentation it was determined the center did not obtain documentation of a negative tuberculosis screening at the time of employment.
Evidence:
The record for staff #1(hired 5/9/22) contained documentation of a TB screening dated 5/27/22.Plan of Correction: The staff member's original TB appointment was schedule for May 6th but they had an emergency and had to reschedule and the TB dates are provided to us. They were scheduled for Trainings during that time.
