Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 10:00am-12:30pm. There were 60 children directly supervised by 15 staff. The physical plant, 5 staff records, 5 children?s records, board member background checks, medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in group play, reading books, playing outside, and eating snack. There was an assortment of age appropriate materials for the children in care. The center was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

2. In the Bluejays classroom bathroom, a container of sanitizing wipes was located on top of a soap dispenser near the sink, but not locked.

3. In the Chipmunks, classroom, a container of sanitizing wipes was located on a shelf above the diaper changing table, but not locked.

Sensory bottles observed in the Cardinal?s classroom contained small objects that pose a choking hazard. Some of the bottles were not sealed in a way to ensure the objects inside were inaccessible to children under the age of 3 years.
