A monitoring inspection was initiated on 7/26/2022 and concluded on 7/26/2022. There were a total of 55 children with 12 staff members present. Children were observed during snack time and engaged in group activities. A total of 3 child records and 3 staff records were reviewed. Medications and fire drills were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Standard #: 8VAC20-780-280-B Description: Based on observation, hazardous substances such as cleaning materials, is not kept in a locked place that prevents access by children.
Evidence: Disinfectant sprays were observed in the Pre K room on top of the children's cubbies, accessible to children.Plan of Correction: The disinfectants will be locked up away from the children.
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-570-E Description: Based on observation, prepared infant formula bottles were not dated with the child's name.
Evidence: Several infant bottles were found on the counter and in the refrigerator not dated.Plan of Correction: All infant bottles will be dated.
