A monitoring inspection was conducted on 07/22/2022. There were 75 children present and 13 staff. The Inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 2 staff records, along with any requested program records submitted by the facility to determine if required documentation was complete. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program

Standard #: 22.1-289.058 Description: Based on observation and interview the center did not have a carbon monoxide detector.
Evidence:
The center did not have a carbon monoxide detector in the building. The director on-site stated she did not believe one was installed in the building.Plan of Correction: A carbon monoxide detector will be placed in the center.
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-280-B Description: Based on observation the center did not ensure all hazardous substances were kept in a locked place, using a safe locking method.
Evidence:
In room 113 there was a can of disinfectant spray on a table in reach of children.Plan of Correction: The Director on-site removed the disinfectant spray and placed them in a locked place.
