Discussed acknowledgement of Illness policy and emergency preparedness plan.
Reminded Vendor that annual health and safety training through Penn Professional development is due by March 2020

An unannounced inspection was conducted from 1030- 1200. The vendor has completed annual training and has current MAT, First Aid, and CPR certification, The Vendor was present with two children in care for a total of 8 points. Standard #: 22VAC40-665-410-A-2 Description: Based on interview and record review, it was determined the vendor did not practice twice a year shelter-in-place procedures.
Evidence:
1. Last year's emergency drill log was reviewed and the shelter in place record portion was blank.
2. Interview revealed it was not practiced but the vendor has a plan on procedures.Plan of Correction: I will practice one this next week and record.
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-410-A-3 Description: Based on record review and interview, it was determined the Vendor had not practiced Lockdown procedure during the last year.
Evidence:
1. The record log did not include a lockdown practice drill.
2. Vendor stated she did not conduct one.Plan of Correction: I will conduct one this next week.
