A monitoring inspection was conducted on August 30, 2022. There were 20 children present, with 3 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. The children were observed arriving to the program and eating snack, which consisted of cucumbers and crackers. A total of 3 child records and 3 staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Standard #: 8VAC20-780-70 Description: Based on review of staff records, one record did not contain all the required documentation.

The record for staff #1 did not contain all required documentation. There is only one reference check, no emergency contact information and no health information was documented.Plan of Correction: Staff will provide the missing information and I will make sure all required information is in the file.
