An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today. There were 30 children present with 10 staff.
The children were playing outdoors, eating breakfast and having group time.
Four child records and four staff records were reviewed.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-270-A Description: Based on a tour of the playground, the facility failed to ensure that all equipment is maintained in a safe condition.
Evidence:
1. On the climber, the green slide which faces the MLK Boulevard has a 1/4 inch gap between the slide and the deck. This presents an entanglement hazard.Plan of Correction: Not available online. Contact Inspector for more information.
