Discussed the allergy list and medications.

Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today beginning at 2:00pm At the time of entrance, 49 children were in care with 3 staff members present. The physical space, emergency supplies, evacuation drills, attendance records, medications, the Emergency Preparedness Plan, 3 children's records and Staff certification for CPR/First Aid and Mat training were reviewed. Ratios were in compliance and required documents were posted. The site was clean and organized. The children were observed checking in, coloring, computer work and sitting at the table while the staff member took attendance. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the violation notice. Standard #: 8VAC20-780-40-M
Description: Based on review, the center did not maintain a current written list of all children's allergies,sensitivities, and dietary restrictions and was not dated.
Evidence:
1. Child #2 (start date 8/25/2022) had a diagnosed food allergy and was not on the allergy list for the center.

Plan of Correction: Staff will complete the allergy list in their Operations Binder.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-50-A
Description: Based on observation, Staff and children's records were not treated confidentially.
Evidence:
1. The supplemental page from the 9/15/2021 and 3/21/2022 inspection were posted on the parent bulletin board and are considered confidential.

Plan of Correction: Staff will only post the Violation Notice (or Inspection Summary) from licensing inspections.

Description: Based on record review, staff records did not include all required information.
Evidence:
1. Staff #1, Staff #2 and Staff #3 did not have the name, address and telephone number of a person to be notified in an emergency at the center.

Description: Based on interview, the emergency plan was not updated yearly.
Evidence:
1. Staff #1 stated the emergency plan was not updated since last school year on 8/21/2021.
