An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 9/27/2022 from 12:30 pm-1:35 pm. There were 25 children supervised by 4 direct care staff. The physical plant, 4 staff records, 5 children?s records, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed sleeping and resting during nap time. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Thank you for your cooperation during this inspection. Evidence: Two wooden logs bordering the playground equipment were deteriorated and splintered.Plan of Correction: Will be fixed or replaced by 10/27/22
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-280-B Description: Based on observation, hazardous substances such as cleaning materials were not kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.
1. In the Preschool room, a disinfectant spray bottle was located on a shelf in an unlocked closet.Plan of Correction: Corrected during inspection.
