An unannounced monitoring inspections was conducted on Thursday, 10/20/2022. The inspection begin at 9:30 and concluded at 12:45 pm. Today?s census included 102 children with 15 staff supervising. During the tour, the inspector observed the children playing with various play materials, and interacting with peers and teachers. The inspector observed 13 classrooms, restrooms, outside play areas, and buses. The center's first aid kit and non-medical emergency supplies were inspected and found complete. Liability insurance, health inspection, and drills were all in compliance. A total of 10 child records, and 10 staff records were reviewed. There were violations sited during today?s inspection.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-570-E Description: Based on observation, the center failed to ensure that all prepared infant formula was labeled with the child?s name and date. Evidence: 1. In Infant Classroom there were six bottles with prepared formula that were not labeled with a date. Plan of Correction: Bottles were dated following inspection and will continue to be dated in the future.
