An unannounced health and safety inspections was conducted on Thursday, 10/20/2022. The inspection begin at 9:30 and concluded at 12:45 pm. Today?s census included 102 children with 15 staff supervising. During the tour, the inspector observed the children playing with various play materials, and interacting with peers and teachers. The inspector observed 13 classrooms, restrooms, outside play areas, and buses. The center's first aid kit and non-medical emergency supplies were inspected and found complete. Liability insurance, health inspection, and drills were all in compliance. A total of 10 child records, and 10 staff records were reviewed.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were not found.
