Discussion of medication (as needed) kept on site for Child #4 to be administered rectally. The center has 5 staff with this certification.
A child on site hit the corner of a bookcase and an ambulance was called. This child was part of the Loudoun County Public School program held on site with the licensed program. While this classroom is not licensed, the community center staff followed center and licensing protocol in providing the necessary care and first aid for this injured child. Parent was also called.

This monitoring inspection was initiated by licensing staff and concluded on 10/25/2022, between the hours of 9:30 am to 11:30 am. There were 92 preschool-age children present with 18 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration; physical plant; staffing and supervision; programming; medication; special care and emergencies; and nutrition. A total of 5 children records. Staff records were check on a previous date.
The information gathered during the inspection determined that there was not a violation to an applicable standard, code, and/or law. Therefore, a Violation Notice was not issued.
