22.1 Early Childhood Care and Education

All CPR training must include an in person component for any staff member in charge of a classroom or by themselves in care of children. Discussed start dates and central registry background check requirements.
- Comments:

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted beginning at 12:15 p.m. and ending at 3:15 p.m. with the director. There were 38 children in care ages 6 months through 5 years old under the care and supervision of 8 staff. Classrooms, the playground areas were inspected. Naptime, transition and outdoor play was observed.
Seven staff records, five children records, emergency drills, staff training hours and one medication and authorization were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
