A monitoring inspection was conducted on November 1, 2022. There were 54 children present, with 9 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 4 child records and 4 staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Standard #: 8VAC20-770-60-C-2 Description: Based on review of staff records, the child day program did not have a central registry finding within 30 days of first day of employment.
Evidence
There is no central registry finding for staff # 1 (first day of employment 8/24/2022).Plan of Correction: The central registry finding for staff was submitted today. Going forward we will make sure all central registry forms are submitted within 7 days of their first day of employment.
