Technical Assistance:
The following was discussed with the program director:
- adequate documentation of Program Director and Program Leader qualifications to support the standard under which the employee is in compliance.
- storage and use of potential choking hazards with children aged three years and under. Closely supervised teacher directed activities may be appropriate, however, all items of a size to test as a choking hazard must be kept in areas inaccessible to the children at all other times.

A monitoring inspection was conducted on 11/16/2022. The transition of part time children and stay and play children was observed. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 3 staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program and discussed with the program director during the exit interview.

Plan of Correction: The program director responded with the following during the exit interview:
The closets were locked during the inspection. The custodial staff was reminded that all closets must be kept locked while children are in care. Staff have been reminded to check these closets to ensure they are locked prior to use of the gym by the children.
