An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 12/1/2022. There were 5 children, ages 2 ? years -4 years, 2 staff and 3 administrative staff present during the inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, personnel, environment and equipment, care of children, preventing the spread of disease, emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 children?s records and 2 staff records were reviewed. The children were observed during center time and lunch. The inspector arrived for the inspection at 10:22am and departed the center at 11:57am.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the provider.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-260-A Description: Based on observation and discussion with staff, the center failed to ensure that an annual fire inspection report from the appropriate fire official was obtained.
Evidence: The annual fire inspection was dated 11/12/2021 and on the day of the inspection an updated annual fire inspection was not documented.Plan of Correction: Provider will obtain documentation of an updated annual fire inspection.
