A monitoring inspection was conducted on 12/01/2022. There were 12 children present and 4 staff. A tour of the facility was conducted, in addition to a record review and interviews with staff. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-260-A Description: Based on a record review the center did not ensure the there was an annual fire inspection.
Evidence:
The last documented fire inspection was documented and dated 07/13/2021.Plan of Correction: The center will call and request a fire inspection. The person, date and time when the call was made will be documented in the record.
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-550-E Description: Based on a record review the center did not ensure a shelter-in-place procedures were practices at a minimum of twice per year.
Evidence:
The center had 1 shelter-in-place drill documented in 2021.Plan of Correction: The center will ensure there are at least 2 shelter-in-place drills in 2022.
