Comments:
The inspector conducted an unannounced monitoring inspection on Thursday, December 8, 2022 to determine the center?s compliance with licensing standards. The inspection begin at 10:30 AM and concluded at 12:30 PM. There were 83 children in care with 20 staff supervising. During the tour, the inspector observed the children playing outside, playing with age appropriate materials, napping, completing a craft, and interacting with peers and staff. The inspector inspected all 10 classrooms, playgrounds, restrooms, and lunch room. The classrooms are equipped with age and stage appropriate materials. The center's first aid kit and non-medical emergency supplies were inspected and found complete. Liability insurance, health inspection, and drills were all in compliance. A total of 7 child records, and 7 staff records were reviewed. Violations were cited during today?s inspection. Description: Based on observation, the center did not ensure that areas and equipment of the center on the inside and outside were maintained in a clean, safe and operable condition.
Evidence:
1. A blue chair in the Blue Room was torn exposing the cushion.
2. The top rail of the exterior fence on the large playground has become detached.

Plan of Correction: 1. Chair will be removed from the classroom.
2. Fence on playground will be fixed.
