Licensing inspector discussed code of Virginia regarding carbon monoxide detector.

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted with the director beginning at 9:41 AM and ending at 12:02 PM. There were 5 children, ages ranging between 3 and 5 years old, in the direct care of 2 staff. The children were observed doing art and playing with toys and manipulatives. Three children?s records were reviewed and in compliance. Two staff records were reviewed and in compliance. There were no medications on site to be reviewed. The first aid kit, flashlight, and battery-operated radio were observed and in compliance. The most recent emergency escape practice drill was documented as 11/8/2022. The most recent practice shelter-in-place drill was documented as 9/20/2022. The most recent health inspection was dated June 16, 2022. The most recent fire inspection was dated as January 2022.
