22.1 EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE AND EDUCATION

A renewal inspection was conducted today, January 6, 2023. The inspector was on site from approximately 1:30 pm until 4:00 pm. The director was present and assisted in the inspection. There were 49 children present, ranging in ages from two years to five years, with 11 staff supervising. Later 18 school age children arrived with two staff. Children were observed napping upon the inspector arrival and later listening to a story, dancing and playing in centers with animals, dolls and coloring. Children had time outside on the playground. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of five child records and seven staff records were reviewed.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued. If you have questions regarding this inspection, please contact the licensing inspector.
