A renewal inspection was initiated on 01/31/2023 and concluded on 01/31/2023. There were 37 children present, ranging in ages from 5 months to 5 years, with 13 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records, 3 medication authorizations and 13 staff/board member records were reviewed/updated. Information gathered during the inspection determined noncompliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-570-E Description: Based on observation and interview, the center did not ensure that each infant bottle was dated.
Evidence:
1. There were two prepared bottles in the refrigerator observed not labeled with a date.
2. There were 5 infants in care.Plan of Correction: I will make sure that the bottles are dated and that the staff know to make sure they are dated from this day forward.
