Technical Assistance:
Discussed Injury Reports and the importance of two signatures of staff at the end of day if a parent's signature could not be obtained with one staff member's signature.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 3:45- 430 PM. There were 53 children directly supervised by 4 staff. The physical plant, 3 staff training records, 4 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed eating snack, washing hands, participating in group play, reading books, and going to the gym. There was an assortment of age appropriate materials for the children in care. The center was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Description: Based on record review, it was determined the Center was not able to provide an annual fire inspection.
Evidence:
1. The most recent fire inspection listed an expiration date of September, 2022.

Plan of Correction: We will check and see if the office has a more recent notice.
